About Mulan Tay
Mulan Tay aka ahBock is a Singapore based illustrator specialized in cartoon illustrations for children books, storybooks and education workbooks and textbooks.
Born in Kelantan, Malaysia, Mulan has been very fond of drawing and art and craft since young. She came to Singapore in 2000 to further her studies and graduated from Singapore’s Nanyang Polytechnic with a Diploma in Digital Media Design (Featured Animation).
Today, Mulan is an Illustrator with one of the leading publishing house in Singapore, Marshall Cavendish International (formerly Times Publishing) working on many leading education books for the Singapore and international publishing market.

Hi,
Like your work. I’m looking for someone to do up a comic strip type of presentation. I have the idea and storyboard done up. Need a cartoonist to draw up the strip. Something like the “making a choice…..” is suit perfectly.

My daughter shows great interest in cartoons and illustration arts. She has a small compilation of drawings of her favourite dogs and we feel she may have a talent in there. We would like to further explore her talent and hope you could advise. We do not know where she could be educated in this area. By any chance, do you also conduct classes? Thanks for your attention.

I am very amused by your artwork. They are adorable but very well done. I can tell it takes a lot of effort. Im getting married in Dec 2010 and would like very much to have a caricature of me and my fiance to display on our wedding day. How much do you charge and what are the prices for different sizes of caricature?

Do you do caricature (like a story kind) as montage for weddings? How much do you charge? I am getting married in Oct 2010, do you think there is enough time to do the montage?
